Hellooooo!
Hey yall! I'm Loren, your Cincinnati, Ohio based photographer. My photography adventure began when I had my first kid. I borrowed a "fancy" camera from a friend to take some framers of my cheeky 3 month old and I was hooked. Not long after, my husband got me my own camera for our five year anniversary that I took with me everywhere. [Oh, how easy it was to lug my big camera around when I only had one kid :D ] I started taking photos for friends and have been growing my business ever since!
The longer I do this, the more I realize just how perfectly I fit here. I'm a people person through and through and I love getting to spend an hour of my time getting to know you and witness your love. It truly feels like the greatest gift getting to capture something so precious and personal, and I don't take it lightly. I love getting to be creative and make art for you. My type A self loves the business side of things, the planning, the checklists, the budgeting. I'm telling you, this business ticks all my boxes.
When I'm not working on photography, I'm living my dream as a stay at home, homeschooling mama to our three babes. We've got a sweet, quirky eight year old boy; an independent, sparkly five year old girl and our hilarious, squishy three year old little man. They are my world and we spend our days adventuring, homeschooling, dancing and driving each other crazy, but I wouldn't change it for anything.
My Love Story
I wouldn't have this dream life of mine if it wasn't for my favorite person in the world, my hubs. I'm a sucker for love stories and ours is of course, my favorite. We met when I was in college. I fell in love at first sight, he however was not so smitten. We got along great though and were the best of friends [all the while I was just unashamedly and hopelessly in loooooove] And then one day, much to my surprise, he wrote me a song, a LOVE SONG. Then he asked me to be his girlfriend. I told him I had to think about it HA Who was I kidding. The next day at Venice Beach, fearful he had changed his mind about asking, I eagerly said YES when he brought up "about what I said yesterday..." And we held hands and it was PERFECT. He was my match, the one created for me and now we were together and I knew we were forever. [Did I forget to tell you I'm a giant cheeseball when it comes to love] Well, we dove right into a year of long distance. But when you know, you know. And we got married not too long after. And now we've been together for almost ten years. That feels surreal and mind boggling at times. We've faced trials in our marriage, we've been close to divorce, we've broken promises made, but most importantly, we made it through and are committed to always choosing each other. He is my best friend and I adore him.
