It's that time of year again!

Believe it or not it is time to book those fall mini sessions! If you're like me you can feel summer is winding down, the new school year is approaching and before we know it we'll be bundled up in our cozy sweaters, sipping our PSLs and MARVELING at all the beautiful fall leaves- YAY!


I have some of my favorite [and yours!] locations lined up for this fall!

French Park

French Park is one of Cincinnati's most popular family photo locations in the fall! It offers a beautiful golden & tall grass field, large pines and lots of fall blooms. Parking is nearby, does not require a park permit and there are no restrooms on site. Due to high volumes of photographers I cannot guarantee a specific location at this park, but with that being said I do my best to get there early and scope out the best locations for my clients!

Nisbet Park

Nisbet park, located in downtown loveland, is a gorgeous little spot on the river. In the fall the trees that line the river just look stunning in all their beautiful fall colors. This little gem is located behind the amphitheater and requires a 5ish minute walk from the parking lot down to the river on a partially paved, partially unpaved trail. Parking is free, there are restrooms located near the ampHitheater, and it is not* stroller and wheelchair friendly.

Ault Park

Ault park is one of my client's favorite locations for photos! It is usually the first to sell out and the most asked for. And I get, its lovely! Especially in the fall with it's deep greens and floral blooms! The gardens at Ault Park are perfect for your family photos. There is parking all around the gardens and often just a short walk to my location. There are no restrooms on site, access to the gardens is via stairs and parking/park entrance is free.

Glenwood Gardens

Glenwood gardens is up and coming as one of Cincinnati's favorite photo session locations. It has a lot to offer with its tall golden field, vast hills, many trees and it's beautiful PAVILION. Depending on where we are in the park, it might require a 5 minute walk. All paths are paved and stroller/wheelchair friendly. There are restrooms on site. Hamilton County park pass is required for park entry or its an $8 daily pass fee.

Summit Park

If I had to pick a favorite fall location for photos it would be summit park. I just adore the golden Grasses and the yellow leaves *heart eyes* Summit Park is a great place for families- it's got restaurants, ice cream shops, the best little playground and nature playscape a kid could ask for, a dog park, and this great area for photos. It's a short walk from the parking lot to the location. There are restrooms further away but not on this side of the park. Park entrance is free.

What else should you know?


Mini sessions are a great way to get a few updated photos of your family!

  • My mini sessions are 15 minutes, which is plenty of time to get a gallery of about 30 images.
  • I run my clients through a series of poses and prompts to get a good variety of posed and candid photos in a few different settings.
  • I will have a blanket area- I usually go neutral with a white or cream colored blanket- but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
  • I also often bring a stool, bucket or small chair to get individuals of the kids.
  • Mini sessions are scheduled back to back so I do not have flexibility if you are running late, so make sure you arrive early and ready to go :)
  • Galleries will be delivered within three weeks of your session.
  • Mini sessions come with 10 images [15 if you are a returning client- Thank you <3] and the option to purchase more if you would like.
  • If you need to reschedule, you can choose another available mini.
  • If I need to reschedule because of weather, I will offer a few options for you to choose from. I run things so I have the flexibility to make sure reschedules are as painless as possible, so no need to fret- I've got you!
  • Fur babies are welcome!
  • Minis are for immediate families only. If you want to include grandparents or other relatives please book two back to back sessions.

All clients receive a style guide for your session and I'm always here to help you plan outfits! You can't go wrong with neutrals :)
