Looking back

As i sit here and look back on 2024- WOW- what a year. it was our third year in cincinnati and i still don't feel settled in- probably because we moved again [whew]! i spent a *lot* of my year helping my parents get rid of 30 years of stuff so that we could move into their home when they moveD down to florida. so here we are, living in my childhood home- day by day making it our own. I'm by no means a professional but im always working on a project around the house and usually sharing on my socials if youre into that kind of thing :)

looking back at this years sessions i am surprised to see that it was the year of mini sessions!! yall love your minis <3 so while these awards are typically only for my full sessions, I will be sharing a few minis!

i am EXTREMELY grateful to all of you: those who are new here, those who keep coming back, those here in ohio and those far away in texas and florida. Yall are the best. Funnest Outfits

If you ask me what to wear to your session I will forever be the biggest fan of neutrals- i mean shades of browns and creams are just my jam. but there are exceptions!!! this family has come back to me year after year and i always loooooove their style! it's fun, it's bright, It's patterns on patterns and it looks amazing!!! So more than my love of browns and creams is my love for capturing *you* and i loove when you show up rockin it

Biggest Heart Melting Session

man, sometimes you just meet people and they are the kindest, sweetest, most loving people! I got to see this with these two at their maternity session and then yall- when they had their sweet baby girl it all just multiplied!!! This is the kind of love that melts my heart and gosh did it ever.

Most Laughs

I had a group of UC Dental grads reach out for a session to celebrate their time together and they were so fun!!! we did some cute ones and we did some awkward ones. and we laughed and laughed. And then it turns out one of them is now a dentist at my kids office! small world, right?

Most Popular Mini

Cincinnatians love their ault park! It is my most asked for location and always the first minis to Sell out!

Best Dressed

yall know i love my neutrals. i was obsessed with this family's outfits! love the colors, love the patterns, love the shoes!

Favorite Parent Photos

usually ill pick my favorite mommy and me photo or pics with dad but I just loved all the parent photos in this session! there is so much love felt here with these cute kids!

Most Kids

my favorite childhood sweethearts have 5 beautiful babies of their own. And we did an extended family session with their family and yall, so many cuties!!! this family is the sweetest and what a blessing to see all that love grow!

my favorite photo from last year was an engagement photo from Autumn and Marcus's Engagement session. well this year i had the absolute honor and joy of photographing their baby journey! a lot of my clients become friends and autumn is one of the best of them <3 Makes it all the more special watching their love grow and meeting their most precious baby girl!

Most Near and Dear to my Heart

Our besties live in west virginia and we got to take a little trip out to visit them this year. It's the whole deal- we get best friends and our kids get best friends. we got to take a few pictures out there and i love these people deeply- they are family.

Sweetest Session

I'm a sucker for love and high school sweethearts always melts my heart a little extra! These two lovebirds were so sweet and beautiful to photograph!

Cutest Pup & Favorite Boss Babe

I love the beauty of stories intertwined. I met ashley and mike at an extended family session that their sister booked and we've been INSEPARABLE ever since! They are the best realtor team [shoutout to wedding home team] out there and made selling our house a breeze! Ashley is a top notch realtor but shes an even greater person <3 And bear is just the cutest pup!!!!!

Most Natureful

I got to check out a new location- Rentschler Park- with some old friends who I love taking pictures of year after year! <3 We hiked a bit and I felt like I was getting my very own local nature tour! Most of yall know we are homeschoolers and I'm very much a nature junkie so it was super fun exploring a new park with people who love nature even more than me!

Sweetest Siblings

these three were so fun. you know its something special when little bro ask to take a photo with his big sis and then snuggles in like this!

Favorite Photo

I'm starting to notice a theme here...golden and love and some fun composition. This session with these two was one of my favorites of the year- amazing couple, great location and perfect fall weather!
